Who regulates MRL Insurance?

MRL Insurance is a trading style of ROCK Insurance Group, a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). No additional fees will be charged for our service. All you are required to pay is the insurance premium. There may be a small administration fee if you require your travel insurance documents to be posted to you or if you need to amend your policy at a later date.

You will NOT receive advice or a recommendation from us for insurance. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

You have the right to cancel any insurance should it not meet your needs within 14 days from either the date of purchase or receipt of your Certificate of Insurance, whichever is later, and provided that you have not already travelled. If  you  do  decide  to  cancel  the  policy  then  your premium  will  be refunded in full, provided no claims have been made or no incidents have occurred that may give rise to a claim.

This policy will suit the demands and needs of an individual or group who  can  meet  the  medical  criteria  contained  within  the  Important Health Requirements Section of this policy.

You should read the important conditions and exclusions to ensure that whether our policies are right for you. Specifically You should note that the policy may not be applicable if:

•    You are over the age of 84 years old when you purchase the Single Trip policy;
•    You reside outside the UK;
•    You  are  over  the  age  of  74  years  old  when  you  purchase  the Annual policy;
•    You require Winter Sports cover but are over the age of 64;
•    You  have  pre-existing  medical  conditions  that  do  not  meet  the medical criteria.

ROCK Insurance Group is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we are unable to meet Our obligations. This depends on the type of business, and circumstances of the claim. Insurance arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit. Further information can be obtained from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme by visiting their website at www.fscs.org.uk.
